2EFC was created in 1913 to reach the English-speaking youth of what was then a predominantly Norwegian neighborhood. Over the course of 100 years, the population inside and out of the church has changed drastically. Today, we are a multi-cultural, multi-generational ministry in one of our country’s largest Chinatowns. What hasn’t changed is our mission to build a community that glorifies God and meets the needs of those around us.
We are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America. We are led by our pastors and elders and governed by our congregation.
The purpose of Second EFC is to bring glory to God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, who proclaim and live out the Good News to all people.
