Unsurpassed Feast

Continuing to the second of two parables that Jesus gave while at a prominent Pharisee's house in Luke 14, verses 12-24. Was he being rude? Jesus assessed the host as well as the guests. Jesus told us that God invites us to the unsurpassed feast at the final and full coming of his Kingdom, and, thus, we should accept the invitation. Through the story we see that 1) the banquet is unequalled because of the unexpected guests; and 2) the banquet is unequalled thanks to the undaunted servant. Come to the table.  We will also be celebrating the Lord's Supper!
