Not Long and Never

This Sunday, we "Spring forward" to daylight savings time and we mark our fourth Sunday in Lent. The sermon will be: "Be Gracious to Me IV - Not long and Never" from Psalm 41:5. We all have enemies. Some have more than others and some enemies are more powerful, more hostile, or more visible than others. Regardless of how much they long for our demise and removal, we all will soon perish. However, what will never perish are our names if we are in Christ Jesus. "Not long and never" was true of King David, true of Christ Jesus, the true Israelite, and for us in union with Christ.
