Praying like Paul

Turning our attention to Ephesians 3:14-21 this Sunday, we see that stemming from where we finished last week, viz., that we have boldness and access with confidence (v. 12), and, thus, we bow our knees before the Father (v.14) as Paul did. While we may lose heart (v.13) at times, in view of our suffering, or the suffering of other brothers and sisters, we note how the Apostle prayed.  And, we too should pray for power through the Spirit in the inner being to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ (vv. 16-17); and we should also praise God for all that he does for and through us in Christ — for his glory (vv. 20-21).
