The Gospel is for Everyone

Where do we get our idea about who the Good News of Jesus is for or not for? What shapes and influences our outlook? At the time of Paul's conversion, and the time shortly thereafter, the influential leaders of the church seemed not ready to go beyond the people that were like them in large part.  Paul went to the outsiders. Because the Gospel is for everyone, we are mindful of what people are in the Body of Christ - who already is and who is not yet. From Paul's continued biographical summary from the first part of Galatians 2, we see this week that: 1) Grace is not limited to one people group - it is also for the "others" of our day; 2) Even when we "discover" who God calls us to minister to, we are not to forget or disregard the others in the body of Christ (who others may be ministering among).
