Keeping it Simple, Straight-forward

Living for God by faith in the Son of God is not complicated.

The Gospel is simple. The grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not limited to the wise and sophisticated. By grace we are justified by trusting the person and work of Jesus. He loved us and gave his life for us. Trusting this, we are accepted by God.

We can make it complicated. This is especially true if we wrongly look to the Law for justification, or nullify grace by looking to be accepted by others or by God through works of the Law. Even the Apostle Peter had to be corrected by Paul for complicating matters by conforming to other's expectations concerning the keeping of certain laws.
