Mother’s Day and Good Signs and Good Vision
Our mothers are clearly a blessing to us. Good sons and daughters are also a blessing to moms. A woman watching Jesus remarked that Jesus' mother, Mary was clearly blessed. Jesus' response to her might be surprising and should not be missed.
As Jesus explained that what he was doing were signs of the Kingdom he was bringing, this Kingdom causes us see things differently differently. Specifically from Luke 11:28-37, we see that:
We evaluate blessedness differently; and
We examine our vision differently.
