Tables are Turned

Aiming to finish our series by Labor Day Weekend and moving quickly through the fifth and sixth chapters of Esther, we see that God is always at work (6:1) and, thus, we can trust that he will flip the script for those he desires to honor (6:10-11). Even if God's providence is not clearly understood (6:13), We find that God is at work 1) in events and developments (6:1-3); through people - despite or because of their shortcomings (5:2-13; 6:6-9). And the King of Kings moves us from danger to honor in Christ Jesus who is pointed to in King Xerxes' honor of Mordecai.
